THE LIGHTS OF DAUPHIN ISLAND
2020 has marked far more cancellations of Island events than any of us would choose. In the midst of more uncertainty, The Dauphin Island Chamber of Commerce is launching a Christmas project that promises to "Festivize" our Island under any and all circumstances. Please join us for our very first Lights of Dauphin Island. Proceeds from this year will be directed to Dauphin Island's Feed the Need.
Who can Participate?
Businesses, individuals, churches, social clubs, neighborhoods...ANYONE can add to the holiday spirit by sponsoring a tree and decorating it using our 2020 Theme - An Enchanted Island Christmas, decorating in such a way as to represent your business, or simply to demonstrate your own personal flair.
The Dauphin Island Chamber is so excited to report that 60 trees were sponsored for our Inaugural Lights of Dauphin Island! We mentioned early on that there would also be a home decoration competition..well, now it's time to register for that. If you would like to enter, your home/neighborhood space in the competition please complete the attached form, or go to our website and register there. The registration fee is only $50.
As with the Christmas trees, our profits go to Dauphin Island's Feed the Need.
