The Dauphin Island Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 2020 Lights of Dauphin Island.  Members of the community have agreed to join us in creating the most festive holiday possible!  Sixty Christmas trees have been sponsored and will be on display around the Island beginning on December 5th. After a weekend of Christmas decorating and voting, we have our Judges Choice and People's Choice Awards!

Judges Choice goes to #57, Sabrina Green, Gnome for the Holidays.

Judges Special Mention:

1. Best Ocean Theme: #54, Harbour Haus

2. Best Christmas Scene: #59, Gulf Breeze Hotel

3. Best Use of Unusual Materials: #38, Dauphin Island Marina

4. Most Creative: #37, Dauphin Island Women’s Club.

Judges Special Honor: To Episcopal Church on Key Street, #28. As Dauphin Island is home to so many songbirds, we thought it was a lovely gesture to hang ornaments made of suet.

The people have spoken…and clearly enjoyed the process!

The People chose tree #54 at the Harbour Haus Condominiums. - 528 LeMoyne (corner of Delchamps and LeMoyne.  The tree is in memory of Jennifer Rogers, age 47, who lost her fight with colon cancer on September 26, 2020. Her logo was #tailfinsup so the tree has a Mermaid theme in her honor.

In the Home Decoration Category, the people chose House D – Tabatha Blue as the Home Decoration Choice – 2310 Bienville Blvd.
