The United Way of Southwest Alabama will strengthen communities by focusing on uniting and mobilizing resources that support the building blocks for a better life: health, education, financial stability, and access to life’s basic essentials. Advancing the common good is less about helping one person at a time and more about changing systems to help all of us. We strengthen neighborhoods, bolster the health of our communities and change the lives of those who walk by us every day by helping and collaborating with local nonprofit agencies, and providing financial, volunteer, and advocacy support.
