As Dauphin Island residents like to say, we're living on "Island Time," and once you experience the serenity of an afternoon sunset, or watch sea  birds performing aerial acrobatics, you will understand why.


Come stroll our beaches, charter a boat to fish or to cruise, dine in our special eateries and visit gift shops and boutiques for that special item or gift.

In our busy world we plan for tomorrow, but can't live it until it arrives. We often spend time regretting the past and worrying about the future and fail to enjoy today.

Permit Parking on designated streets are only allowed for residents (& their guests) or for renters (with proper displayed signage).

 

Public Beaches (charges are for maintaining beaches)

East End Beach - $6.00 per car

Middle Beach -  $6.00 per car or $2.00 per person for walk-ins (11 & younger free)

West End Beach - $3.00 per car + $3.00 per person (12 & younger free)

Dauphin Island's Annual Sunset Concert Series continues in September and October with the final two shows of the year. 

 

Admission is $5/person (age 13 and over). Attendees are encouraged to bring beach chairs, blankets and bug spray. Please NO glass, pets, or grills! 

 

All concerts are held weather permitting and subject to change.

Not just an ordinary trail! 

There will be artists from throughout the Southeast at different local businesses - many hosting open houses. Pick up a map at any of the stops & have it stamped at all the stops for great prizes.

 

Ride your bike, your car or the free trolley which will transport visitors from spot to spot with a pickup at the ferry as well for "walk-ons" from Ft. Morgan.

Get ready for fall and for an even better gumbo cook off!

Local chefs will be battling it out to see who will win 2021's contest! After a long wait,

it is time to see who will

come out on top.

While official details are

not out yet, keep practicing because this year's competition will be intense! Mark you calendars for November 6th.

ABOUT THE CHAMBER

The purpose of the Dauphin Island Chamber of Commerce is to serve and promote interests of the commercial community of Dauphin Island.

The DICoC actively solicits input from its members on issues that  affect their ability to conduct business on the Island. The DICoC also promotes events on the Island throughout the year to attract more visitors to the Island.  This increase in visitation acts to increase the opportunity  for local business members to conduct their commercial activities.

DAUPHIN ISLAND IS DOG-FRIENDLY

Dogs are allowed to visit Dauphin Island's primary public beach and the Dauphin Island Campground.

 

Please note that dogs are not allowed at the West End Beach Park on the Island's extreme west end.

Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

PLEASE NOTE: The Welcome Center is currently closed due to COVID-19. Information, books and puzzles are available on the porch for pick up. 

Stop by our Welcome Center with complimentary Internet Access and a Lending Library, housed in the restored, original Little Red Schoolhouse.
