WELCOME TO DAUPHIN ISLAND
Come and enjoy our little piece of paradise, dip your toes in the Gulf of Mexico waters, get sand between your toes and just RELAX. As Dauphin Island residents like to say, we're living on "Island Time," and once you experience the serenity of an afternoon sunset, or watch sea birds performing aerial acrobatics, you will understand why.
Come stroll our beaches, charter a boat to fish or to cruise, dine in our special eateries and visit gift shops and boutiques for that special item or gift.
In our busy world we plan for tomorrow, but can't live it until it arrives. We often spend time regretting the past and worrying about the future and fail to enjoy today.
We invite you to come enjoy Dauphin Island.
The Dauphin Island Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 2020 Lights of Dauphin Island. Sixty Christmas trees have been sponsored and will be on display around the Island beginning on December 5. We also have several families who agreed to participate in the home decoration as well. There will be a panel of judges and People's Choice awards given.
Lights come on 12/5!
The Lights of Dauphin Island
There’s more to a barrier island than sand and water – the beach is a thriving habitat with a dynamic dune system and fascinating plants and animals, and higher elevations are covered by lush forest. We’ll walk through the maritime forest, then on to the dunes and beach.
